Happy 4th of July to all my fellow Americans whether you're here or abroad (as I was for many years.)
This is my entry into the Gaugan Contest brought to us by @steemean.
How I Made This Image
Today, I decided to try to make Gaugan create fireworks in celebration of Independence Day.
I used the flower brush (the only one to get real colors in Gaugan) on the smallest setting to draw the fireworks in the sky. Unfortunately, I didn't get any reds - or anything that would show up on a night sky without substantial help from Gimp (which would no longer be Gaugan), but I think the result is celebratory, at the very least.
I tried to keep everything else very simple. And although I didn't like how Gaugan kept trying to connect my sea wall there, I think it worked out pretty well.
