Cold macro shot of the snowflakes through the windshield of the car. Picture was taken at dawn, but because of the snow and light reflection we have illusion that it looks like it was taken during the daytime.
Interestingly shaped, unique and strong style of flakes with their white/gray color gives this image bright lightning and contrast to its background. Its like white in front creates new snow covered landscape of the hills and trees. Macro shots usually have single plane but what makes them interesting are the details that are in the main focus as background is blurry and somehow not the main subject. Shape of the snowflakes is first thing that draws the attention and moves the eye around.
There is something really comfortable about snow, staying inside, on warm, with the smell of fire. Almost feels like a cave-man. Could that still be some leftovers of our primal instincts?
