I have offered to give a bonus to nominees* (see below), newbies who has been entered in the weekly contests by @thedarkhorse.

Rules for "First-Time Entry Bonus by a Contest Nominee"

1. Bonus Reward:
   3 SBD % to be distributed will be determined by the judges of Weekly Contest for next week (with possible repeat and extension TBD). The bonus of 3 SBD can be converted to other forms, such as SBI at the sole discreation of the judges and in such event, the 3 SBD will be transferred to @thedarkhorse or designee.

2. Declaration or Claim to be considered for the bonus:

Declaration the entry for the bonus is required and can be made only once and must contain:
This is my first and only entry to be considered-judged for the "First-Time Entry Bonus by a Contest Nominee" bonus. (words do not have to be exact but must be clear and this can be on only one entry)

3 . Eligibility:

All "Contest Nominee" in a current or previous entry to the Pay It Forward Contest and making the said declaration above.

Eligibility information on the entry is optional and should be at the top or bottom of entry.
Information about eligibility, although optional on the entry, but if not stated clearly, please do not complain any oversight and for not being considered for the bonus if it is not declared clearly on the entry.
Anyone can help the judges to verify the eligibility of any such entry if not clearly declared on the entry.

For example:
@reonlouw and Entry #17 (@reonlouw/pay-it-forward-contest-week-3-entry-by-reonlouw) this week
is eligible for the bonus for week 4 with this or with another entry for future weeks since this week's entry was made before the rules have been finalized, and the eligibility is not to exclude anyone for the bonus - i.e., only one entry for such bonus per "Contest Nominee".

All are encouraged to not add burden on the judges to verify the eligibility of the "Contest Nominee".

4 . Final decision: The decision of the judges of the Pay It Forward Contest is FINAL! (in who, how rewarded, and how much)

The following has been superceded and crossed out but remained to avoid confusion.
2. Eligibility: Entry must be the first time entered / submitted by the steemian who is / was a current or previous (w.r.t. the contest) nominee (see the list for week 3 contest above).
3. Entry details: Each entry by a nominee for consideration of this first-time bonus must include:
- a declaration: "entered for first time bonus by a nominee"
- the entry that s/he was nominated (see example below)

This is to encourage nominated newbie steemians to nominate / feature / recognize others in return - the purpose of the contest is to: "Pay It Forward".

1. respond to a person's kindness to oneself by being kind to someone else.
   "I will take the support I have had and try to pay it forward whenever I can"

For now, I am offering this reward and I probably can offer this bonus for the next 4 weekly contests - TBD. All rules are subject to change up until the start of the next week's contest.
