Hello and Welcome to a new Episode of my Fanart Series.
Today we take a closer look at "COEURL LURKER"
This legendary Neutral Monster is a sleek, cat-like creature with terrible fangs and claws. It had four tentacles tipped with thorns, two each on its shoulders and hindquarters, and the tail of a scorpion.
Coeurl Lurkers speed is not too remarkable with a flat four across all levels. Though it has a high amount of health and a decent melee damage for a tank.
As for its abilities, Dodge is a very powerful skill that has a higher chance of evasion than flying. If you combine it with the Phase ability, Coeurl Lurker now has the capability to evade all types of attacks.
Ok let's move on...
Here is my interpretation of "COEURL LURKER"
I had some trouble in the coloration process and tried some different styles only to went full into some crazy Psychedelic finish xD
Time for a rough Illustration Process:
The first sketch i do is always very rough. It is only a guideline for me what shape and proportions my illustration will have.
In the second step i work on a clean sketch with some more details. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.
Now it's time for adding the colour pallet, than shadows and at last step the very important highlights and effects.
All digital work was done on ipad with procreate.
I made this Fanart as an entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest
