Finally I'm ready with everything required to go to the SteemFest in Amsterdam early next month. I have purchased a SteemFest ticket first, then made a hotel reservation at Volkshotel and now I also booked plane tickets for going to Amsterdam and back.
It is pretty much fitting in the planned budget for the expenses prior the event without the additional ones expected when I get to Amsterdam for transportation and various other things. The plane tickets are a little less than 200 Euro for both directions since I will not be traveling that far to get to Amsterdam - just 3 hour flight. The total cost for the SteemFest ticket, the 3-day stay in the Volkshotel and the Plane Tickets has so far reached about 600 Euro in total. Interestingly enough that amount is enough to buy about 2732.364 STEEM at the current exchange rates of the crypto token.

There is an interesting and quite useful offer by @roelandp for SteemFest in the form of the ability to get a 3G/4G Prepaid Sim Card for your stay in Amsterdam during Steemfest. The SteemFest Simcard Offer if for a 2.5 GB Vodafone Prepaid Sim Card for 25 SBD (you can get one yourself for 15 Euro as well). The card comes with 1 GB of data + 1.5 GB of data special gift (card needs to be activated before 13 November) and 100 minutes of calling / 100 SMS (1 sms = 1 minute of calling). This can be especially useful for everyone that is coming from outside the European Union or Europe in general as the roaming costs might be pretty high for you. I don't have a problem with voice calls as in roaming, but data is something that does not yet come cheap when you are in roaming even within EU, so I might take up on that offer. You have until October 30th to take up on that offer and get your prepaid SIM card during you registration at the Volkshotel on the SteemFest Desk on Friday, November 11th.

Even though SteemFest will be held at the beginning of November the weather does not seem to be bad, though it will still be cold and might be raining according to the weather forecasts. Hopefully by the time SteemFest starts it will become a bit better as there is still quite some time for really accurate weather forecast. If you want to keep a track on how the weather will be for SteemFest, you can keep track of the weather forecast on Accuweather here. The dates you should be particularly interested in are November 11th-14th as this is the time period that most of the visitors for SteemFest will be spending in Amsterdam. The lowest temperatures should be in the range 5-7 degrees Celsius and the highest 12-13 degrees Celsius at the moment...
So I hope to see you on SteemFest in Amsterdam this November...
