Hello Steemians,
welcome to the fourth part of our trip on the island of Sardinia.

The last day of our stay in Porto Cervo started with a nice sunrise.

After breakfast we made a trip to the city Tempio Pausania.

The town has around 14000 inhabitants and is the centre of the Gallura sub-region. Very typical for the town's architectur is the use of granite stones.

The afternoon we spent at one of the many bays of the Costa Smeralda.

The next day we start our journey to the south. We always went along the east coast.

Shortly before Olbia we made a detour to Golfo Arcani, a small town with a ferry port located on a peninsula.

50 km further south, on the edge of the village of Posada, the ruins of the castle Castello delle Fava can be visited.

We parked our car in the narrow streets of the city and climbed up many steps to the castle.

From the tower of the castle you have a very good view towards the sea. In the background you can see the fine sand beach Spiaggia Orvile.

If you turn around, you can see the village Posada and some of the mountains of Sardinia.

Finally a view to the south. Behind the mountains our next accommodation in Cala Gonone awaits us. Till next week!
