Hello Tuesday friends !

Here we are today with a painting I just finished, and that is inspired by the character recently previewed in this post that I had drawn in my notebook :

Nous voici aujourd'hui avec une peinture que je viens de terminer, et qui est inspirée du personnage aperçu récemment dans ce post que j'avais dessiné dans mon carnet

Je vais vous montrer les images de sa création jusqu'à cette adorable peinture 😊

First of all, I scanned my drawing then made a coloring, that is to say that I simplified it to keep only the main lines

I then printed it and applied a layer of white gesso to prepare my support to receive the paint.

I used my pastels and pencils, all watercolor, and the process is always the same, if you used to read my tutorials you must be well jaded 😄

Anyway, the images speak for themselves and represent well each step...

Tout d'abord, j'ai scanné mon dessin puis en ai réalisé un coloriage, c'est à dire que je l'ai simplifié pour n'en gardé que les lignes principales

Je l'ai ensuite imprimé et ai appliqué une couche de gesso blanc pour apprêter mon support à recevoir la peinture

J'ai utilisé mes pastels et des crayons, tous aquarellables, et le processus est toujours le même, si vous avez l'habitude de lire mes tutos vous devez être bien blasés 😄

Quoi qu'il en soit, les images parlent d'elle-même et représentent bien chaque étapes

Then I took care of the canvas, here a small 6 inches square model on which I applied a mixture of pastels that I watercolored with more water than usual in order to obtain a more diluted color.

I then drew the lines with my wet brush, which had the effect of removing the color since it is paint that is diluted with water 😉

Ensuite je me suis occupé de la toile, ici un petit modèle de 15 x 15 cm sur laquelle j'ai appliqué un mélange de pastels que j'ai aquarellé avec plus d'eau que d'ordinaire afin d'obtenir une couleur plus diluée.

J'ai tracé ensuite les lignes avec mon pinceau humide, ce qui a eu pour effet d'enlever de la couleur puisqu'elle se dilue à l'eau 😉

Back to my cute pug, I cut him and then stuck him on the canvas,

I placed him in a white frame, which I would have painted before if only I had given it a thought previously ... but obviously I let myself sometimes drag in my haste to stick 😄

then I surrounded him with a crown of foliage ...

Retour à mon mignon pug, je l'ai découpé puis collé sur la toile,

j'ai placé un cadre blanc autour, ce que j'aurais bien fait avant si seulement j'avais réflechi, mais manifestement je me laisse parfois entrainer dans ma hâte de coller 😄

puis je l'ai entouré de sa couronne de feuillage ...
