If you've been following me for a while, you might already know about my love for Zumba. It's been a little bit over 6 years since my first ever Zumba class and since then I 've been going on and off but it's still one of my favorite activities. It is a great way to move your body, get your heart beat up, have fun and let go of stress or any other negativity. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, I'm taking a break from Zumba but I hope in the near future, I will be able to go back to it.

However, today's post is about another dance fitness program and it's called Latino Fitness Power. It was founded by two very good friends of mine. Most of the music is Latino, as the name suggests but there are some songs that don't fall into that category. Some choreographies require a bit more "technical" vibe where you really get to practice movements and control your body and there are some choreographies that are more about energy and going crazy, not so much about the techique. I like that we get to practice and do both. At the end of the class we do the "Power" part which is a combination of excercises for the entire body - we do 2 songs of this, followed by stretching during the next 2-3 songs. So we get a little bit of everything really!

On Wednesday we had a little video shooting for the upcoming Latino Fitness Power promotion on Social media. I am not really the type of person who enjoys dancing in front of the camera but I thought it would be nice to get out of my comfort zone and support my friends, of course. As you can tell, our "dress code" was quite simple - all black everything and even though I haven't seen the final product (video) yet, I think it's going to be a good one! :) I'll leave a song we danced to in case anyone is wondering what it was, haha.

Depending on how our video ends up looking like, I might share the links here on Steemit as well. I might even upload it somewhere, if my friends agree with it, but I'm not sure which platform to use for that so any suggestions are welcomed. I was using Dtube before but now I see that the old videos I uploaded there won't even play. I haven't been on Steemit that much at all last year so I guess something happened while I was away and I would appreciate if anyone would explain it to me, lol.
As I mentioned, I still don't feel comfortable dancing in front of the camera and sharing it with the world, for everyone to see but maybe this will be the year where I'll get out of my comfort zone and try to share more. In the meantime, selfies are the way to go! :)
Thank you for checking out this post, I wish you all a lovely day!
