Crafting 4 Christmas | Part 23 | Christmas Tree Snow Globe | DIY

Crafting 4 Christmas part 23.png

Introduction

Two days ago, I shared a felt Christmas tree ornament that was actually meant to turn out differently. I was actually trying to make this tree for this snowglobe I'm sharing today. The felt tree turned out a bit too wide to place in the glass jar, so I decided to turn that tree into an ornament without the jar.

Today, I will share how it was meant to turn out, but I'm using foam instead of felt today. This makes the craft easier and low budget as well. The glass jar can be replaced by a recycled jar as well, it doesn't have to be a new one like I used.

The last part is adding some snow in the jar, I used cocos flakes, but you can also use fake snow.

You may have noticed I showed 5 squares of the first 3 sizes in the pictures but mentioned you should cut out 4 parts only. I did this on purpose because the tree was a bit too high in my opinion, so I decided to cut the amount to 4.

It's up to you what height you prefer for the tree, just check the height while crafting, and before glue-ing it together, you can always leave one out or add another if needed. It all depends on the jar you're using as well!

I love how it turned out! Here you can see what I meant with the tree being a bit too high for my jar. You can also leave the jar open if you think it looks cool from above.

I hope you enjoyed this part of Crafting 4 Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
