Our first day's camp during our Lake Powell Vacation was really great.
Even though we were on a house boat I brought my tent.
This is the route we took and where we stayed the first day. It was an adventurous journey going through the Storm on Lake Powell. We were blessed to have great weather as we were beaching the boat.
Here is a video of @jarvie beaching the house boat. The sand was soft and it was easy to anchor it.
I set up my tent a little ways away from the boat.

I really do like sleeping out in nature. I didn't grow up camping and don't do it very often, when I do I remember how much I like it.
Especially when the scenery is so gorgeous.
