At the end of April I went to Washington DC. It was an incredible time to go as so many plants were blooming. One day Heather, Moana and I went to the National Arboretum. For all the time I lived in DC I had never been to the National Arboretum.
Moana and I found this stunning view after wandering past some azaleas, dogwoods and Camila trees.
As we were driving around the arboretum (There are 9 miles worth of roads to drive around) we noticed these beautiful flowers on the side of the road.
I asked Heather to stop the car and I out and took a few pictures.

Then as I was getting in the car I saw this dogwood on the other side of the road. I adore dogwood trees in bloom. Moana and I took the path back and it just kept getting better and better.

There was a great collection of Camilas.

The azaleas were a spectacular pink that stood out next to the white dogwoods!

Had to get a selfie of Moana and I to remember this amazing walk in the National Arboretum.
It was one of the most memorable walks in a long time. I think because I had no idea what was coming up next and it just kept surprising us with beauty all around!
I am happy to share it with you for today's #Wednesdaywalk
