Artemise was a forest that kept a dark secret, among the thick foliage of the trees that bordered it. People who entered it claimed to have seen beings from other worlds, gigantic houses and people wandering around.
Many said they were myths, but having been locked up for so long because of the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to enter a world completely unknown to me. Every day I walked for two to three hours, but the search for those mystical rumors was fruitless, those were just fantasy stories.
I decided to continue, because with a lethal virus stalking you, the healthiest thing to do was to be away from people and closer to nature. I had already heard several elders say that there were cases of people who had entered the forest healthy and returned with psychosis.
