How to Remember Names: Robert Downey Jr

Welcome to another episode of how to remember names. I am a huge Marvel fan. But I love Robert Downey Jr since the 90's. I am very happy to make today's episode all about him. I think he would like it as well. So tell him, if you know him.

The Person

Like always we began by analyzing the person for a good anchor point for our name-keywords. Robert has this trademark beard which I would normaly use. But since he is so famous for being Iron Man we can use that to our advantage. So we will use his armor instead as his unique feature.

Robert

His first name is not so intuitive right away. You could go for rope for example. But I decided to take the word RUBBER because it sounds more like Robert. We specify this into a rubber band.

Downey

This offers many ideas. The word down (like "up" or like "feather"). Or the word downer comes to mind, which I don't want to use. You could also say down + knee which would be a proposal position or something like that. Actually pretty cool but to keep it simple I chose the DOWN (like feather). By the way: I leave out the Jr because it is so easy to remember without any technique.

The Story

Short and good: Robert aka Iron Man (include the suit) is being pulled back inside a huge rubber band. The band is being released and he catapults into the air and lands safely on a pile of downs. You might ask why he didn't fly with the suit. Just invent any reason to satisfy your brain. Like: Battery low!

Editor's note: You could also say he puts a rubber down. Get it?
