March Bullet Journal + Focus of the Month

It's that time again! New month is almost here and for me that means making some spreads in my bullet journal. I made myself some tea (as I'm getting sick), played music and enjoy the alone time. And yes, I went a little bit crazy with all the flower details. As you can probably tell, I'm really looking forward to spring. :)

Here's my setup: tea, bullet journal, scissors, pens, a small ruler and a bunch of photos that I cut out from the magazines, washi tape. You can't see everything on this picture but that's what I use or what I'm trying to use up. That fluffy pen is a gift I received yesterday and I really like it.

New habit tracking system review

Last month I tried this system of habit tracking and it worked out nice for me. It showed me how towards the end of the month I got lazy which is not unusual for me so that's something I'll have to work on.

Here's the page filled in. I haven't really been using the Failure notes and Cycle review on the left page so I completely ditched that for March. Studying also got completely left out since I'm in the process of applying for a job and Uni will have to wait for a few months. I'm not forcing myself to complete the habits daily and I'm not stressing out anymore if I "break the chain" which used to bother me a lot in the past. I guess I've learned that it's all about doing my best, not about perfection and unrealistic expectations.

March

Inspired by spring season I used this big photo of flowers that I love and a small calendar that I always find useful for a quick check of the dates/days. Next to it, I decided to dedicate an entire page to Steemit, for post ideas and organization. I have posted every single day in February so we'll see what will happen in March. I hope this inspiration flow will continue.

Next we have a two page calendar for the month with enough space in each box to put any important events, appointments, birthdays... I like this overview because I can see the entire month clearly and it keeps all the important stuff at one place.

More flower decoration, lol. I left more space than usual for expenses but I hope I won't fill all that space. Brain dump is for any random notes, things that don't have a designated space. I also decided to add a master to-do list for all the things that need to be done this month but don't have a specific date or are not scheduled yet but I don't want to forget them.

Finally, this is my habit tracker for March split in two sections. Right side will stay empty for now since I might add or remove some habits or just switch things up a little bit. A lot of times I found it hard to stick to habit tracker that are set up for the entire month so I think this split in two works better for me.

Focus of the month

My focus of the month for January was reading and for February it was Social media detox. For March I though I would go for something physical so I picked stretching - that's why it's highlighted on the habit tracker. The idea is to pick something to focus on for a month but not strictly every single day and to take every focus into the next month(s). So I'm still keeping up with reading and since I deleted my Instagram for good, I no longer have to track that.

If you're into organization or paper&pen planning, I hope you enjoyed this post. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and the process of making these pages is enjoyable and fun for me. :) Thank you for checking out this post and have a great day!
