What do you do when you suddenly see a Bullfrog in a gas station parking lot at 10 pm?
Well, if you are @papa-pepper, you run across that parking lot and grab it. Then, you take out your phone, lie down on the pavement, and start taking photos. Oh, the things that gas station attendants must see some nights...
I have always loved these frogs, but they were hard to come by in Wisconsin. I only knew of one lake that had them as a child, but thankfully I found a pond full of them just before I moved out of Wisconsin. In Arkansas, they are more plentiful, but this one was in Missouri. I think that you'll be impressed with the size when I show the proof.
Also, an interesting fact is that if the water temperature is cool enough, it can take more than a year for the tadpoles to turn into frogs!
