I feel like I'm falling behind. I'm letting myself get distracted by less important things like playing steemnova and losing an hour or so that could have gone towards writing. Then the cycle of shame starts again. Then, by the end of the day, I'm feeling bad and don't feel like doing anything more. Thankfully, it is at the end of the day when I convince myself I'm tired.
Maybe I should get a dog. Maybe a dachshund that way the woman will come up to my dog and then I can engage with them. Having an icebreaker is a nice thing to have.
I no longer want to be the nice guy. The nice guy goes around trying to be liked by everyone and does his best to please everyone at the expense of losing themselves. I'm tired of being the nice guy. It hasn't gotten me anywhere.
Part of the reason I think I'm not writing as much here on steemit is because of the new update that came along. It doesn't seem very fair toward those of us at the bottom. It has kind of pissed me off. Although, I seem to be making a little bit more since the update because a few people have decided to upvote my stuff and I still have the support of curie from time to time.
Another reason I'm not writing here as much is that I've been looking at joining some contests of the steemit block change. This has caused me to freeze a bit because of the many choices there are to choose from, which I then get in my head, convince myself that I can't do any of it, and then go back into gaming or watching a movie.
So, Tristan, get back to the work. I can see it is paying off. Continue to be persistent so that you may work toward the outcome you desire, which is absolute perfection, which is absolutely impossible but you can't blame me for trying.
