Here is the final set of pictures I captured on the Pacific Coast of Washington State before we turned inland.
One more image of Destruction Island with its lighthouse.
Ruby Beach...
A wedding party was doing their pictures down there while I was standing there.
That's Abbey Island looming off the shore. It almost surprises me that they named it an island rather than the Rock that more accurately describes it.
A pair of hemlocks (I think) keeping the bank in place... with plenty of greenery surrounding it. One thing that can be ubiquitously said about the Oregon and Washington coast is that it's green.
This is the temperate jungle that I grew up with - took for granted... and love so much now.
Apparently, this is Cedar Creek which comes down to meet the Ocean at Ruby Beach.
Photos taken by myself in August 2019 with my Pentax K30.
