After everything that happened recently with Justin Sun and his "new" witnesses, I can't help but wonder, what will happen next and what should we do?
I am not an investor nor a cryptocurrency/blockchain expert. I'm far away from a witness. I would say I am just a regular blogger who has been on this platform for a little bit over three years now. After my poor activity last year, I finally came back to posting regularly since the beginning of 2020. and despite all that is happening now, I still have inspiration to keep creating posts.
I am still using Steemit to publish my posts - I just got so used to it and honestly, it worked well for me since the beginning and I never felt the need to change that. However, with the recent events, I am not sure what will happen to Steemit and what should I, as an average user/blogger do? Any advice is welcomed! This morning I made an update to my witness voting list as I feel like that's the least I can do at this moment.
When this entire thing with Justin Sun and Tron started, I did have hope that somehow things will take a positive turn. Maybe it was too optimistic or naive from me to have those hopes but now, after Justin's recent actions, I see him as a liar and manipulator. I think that he completely wrecked whatever was left of his reputation in the Crypto world and I don't know how anyone will be able to trust him again. I know for a fact, I won't.
I would love to hear your opinion or advice on what to do? Are you powering down? What do you think will happen next? Also feel free to drop any useful links about these topics for me and anyone else who ends up scrolling through the comments.
