TripFM #36: The gorge of Ha, Crete Island, Greece, 2010 (7 pics)

If you go from the city of Agios Nikolaos to the south of the island of Crete in the direction of the city of Ierapetra, you will discover the beautiful landscapes of the Thrypti mountain range.
The gorge of Ha is the highlight of these mountains.

According to some sources, the name «Ha» comes from the Greek «χάσκω» which means «separate» or «to gape».

The length of the gorge is about one and a half kilometers and this gorge is impassable without the climbing equipment.

Therefore, the gorge of Ha is one of the most difficult for the passage of the gorges of the island of Crete.
