Josette, and Miles Steem are my Sim Girl legacy challenge Sims. If you are not familiar with the challenge you can find it at Sims Legacy Challenge. This challenge is to basically, start your Sim out on a huge lot; with little to no money, and then play the household for 10 generations on this land. There are many stipulations, and rules for the challenge. You can find these rules by following the link.
I’ve had quite a time trying to clean up my computer. I had to clear out everything and start from scratch, because I had way too much stuff in it. But, I wanted to make a post to let you know what has been happening in the Sim Girl legacy challenge, and the Steem family.
Milo was given the wiz kid aspiration, and the outgoing trait for his childhood, by the random trait generator located on the Sims legacy challenge website. He is now a kid.
I am still dealing with the aging glitch, so Milo is sad because he did not get a birthday party. As hard as I tried, I could not raise his toddler skills to max, so I am expecting monsters under the bed for a few more years.
It is a good thing, the Steems are professional monster slayers.
I forgot to release Victoria’s spirit after she passed, and was reminded when she came back for a visit.
I have not remodeled the house since her passing, so her bedroom is the same as it was before. She came back at night, climbed in her bed, and then went to sleep.
Josette released her spirit from the Sim world, so she can now rest in peace.
Miles Diner is coming along fine, He has increased the room, by adding on to the building. They can now serve eight customers at once.
If you own a restaurant in your Sim game, you can open before you get there, or from the house by going in to the business menu, which is the register’s icon on the bottom far right of the screen.
The restaurant will not run as well as it would if your Sim was there, but the employees will arrive at the business, and begin working.
To raise the stars for the restaurant’s reputation, the owner Sim must show up to greet the customers, and fix anything that may have broken while they are away.
I have installed the Cats and Dogs recently. I have not had a chance to play it yet, but I have a feeling, Milo will be getting a puppy for Christmas.
There are lots of things to do in Cats and Dogs. You can own the pets, train the pets, and even start your own veterinarian clinic.
You can also create your own cat or dog. The Cats and Dogs game expansion allows you pick from either a cat or a dog to create. They will give you a random cat or dog to begin with and then you can go further into the create a pet to add details, and the pet’s personality.
Pets will also have obsessions and fears. If the pet is obsessed with an item, they will become excited when the object is near them. They will become fearful around objects that the pet fears.
A lot like create a Sim, create a pet allows you to pull the pet in any direction to change their body shape, or features. You can also add special markings by using the paint option.
You can use the color wheel to customize the paint. You also have a stencil option in which you can make the same print with different colors, making your cat or dog colorful.
You can select the pet pose to reach parts of the pet’s body that you cannot reach while they are standing on their feet. This way you can customize the markings on their underbelly, paws, and face.
With Christmas around the corner, the Steems are busy getting ready for the holidays. I will be using the holiday decorations to jolly up the house soon!
