Wednesday Walk: Voringfossen

I am so excited to take you on this walk. We spent about 2 hours walking around Voingfossen.

Before we get to the waterfall let me show you the surrounding area. We were there in September and it was beautiful!

Some entrepreneurial person built this hotel up on the hill overlooking the falls. Nice.

And here is a bench to sit and relax and enjoy nature and the view.

In English Voringfossen means Voring falls and it has a total drop of 597 feet (182 metres) and has a run of 400 feet (122 metres)

There are so many different views of the same water fall. We walked along the railing and saw it from a bunch of different angles. Then we went across the bridge to the widest section.

The walk over to the bridge was so beautiful.

Here is a look a the bridge before we crossed it.

The widest section of the waterfall.

We thought it made a great back dropped and did a little photoshoot.

The walk back to the car was so pretty and I love taking pictures of plants.

What a beautiful place. I am so glad that we stopped here! Good job @jarvie!
