Snowflakes Are Useful Idiots: Recommended Reading List #7 - and a dose of Schlichter.

It's Monday, and you know what that means: A Flaming Bite of Schlichter & Snowflakes Galore! Before we get the our regular Snowflake Updates, a Little Taste of Schlichter:

Liberals Are An Inferno Of Flaming Crazy:
We Should Pour Gasoline On The Fire

Pity the Democrats, to the extent you can without bursting into hysterical laughter at their agony. America has thoroughly rejected them in every branch of the federal government plus out in the states, and on top of that they were utterly humiliated by the guy they all claimed was a complete moron. Which begs the question – what does that make the sanctimonious harpy he crushed in the Electoral College?
They still haven’t realized what’s going on. Their ego-driven drive to dominate normal people and shape us into New Socialist Nongendered Beings has blinded them to the bitter reality.
We think they, along with their minions in the media, in Hollywood, and on campus, suck.
They are baffled at our refusal to acknowledge their moral, intellectual, and political superiority. It doesn’t just compute.

And now for something completely different...

I don't know whether I should laugh or cry over Tyler O'Neil's article. It is chilling - unless you're a raving liberal who thinks being thrown off a building for being gay is less threatening than a Christian Pro-Life demonstration...

I looked up "stupid" online and got these guys.

The Duke saga jointly reported by Knighton and Kerwick is equally chilling, as it describes how a man described by a colleague as “one of the pre-eminent theologians working in the United States today and a vital resource for students and colleagues engaged in rigorous theological reflection” was hounded off the Duke faculty for the crime of being politically incorrect. (If that doesn't anger you, stop reading, now.)

  • FrontPage: 'Hate Spaces': The Politics of Intolerance on Campus - A disturbing, in-depth look at the new campus Brownshirts.
  • Americans for Peace and Tolerance (APT) has released a new documentary called Hate Spaces: The Politics of Intolerance on Campus to address the worsening anti-Semitic environment on our country's college campuses.
'Hate Spaces' goes beyond the by-now familiar accounts of a hostile school environment to document the dynamics on campus that perpetuate the problem. It illustrates how anti-Semitism is being made fashionable at many American universities through the on-going academic de-legitimization of Israel, the normalization of hatred in the name of social justice, the growth of Muslim students on campus, and massive donations of Arab oil money to universities.

Having devoted nearly twenty years of my life fighting Holocaust denial and hatred on the Internet, can you imagine how it now feels to see that hatred thriving on university campuses?

  • Gockowski, Anthony: Prof: ‘college campuses are not free speech areas’
  • A Fresno State University professor was recently caught on camera scrubbing pro-life message off of the sidewalk and encouraging several of his students to do the same.
When confronted by the pro-life students, who informed him they had permission to leave the chalkings, the professor claimed that free speech only applies to the (nonexistent) "free speech area."

Here's a clue, Bubba: America is the biggest, baddest free speech area on the planet -- and you suck.

  • Greenfield, Daniel: The College Blueprint for a Totalitarian America
  • College students are afraid. And they should be.
The average college campus with its speech codes, thought policing, violent protests and kangaroo courts has no resemblance to anything else in the United States of America.
Colleges are totalitarian states. And they are the blueprints of the left’s plan for the entire country.
  • Knighton, Tom: Duke Professor Faces Disciplinary Action for Calling Diversity Training a Waste
  • Almost anyone who has been forced to sit through diversity training has probably thought, "What a complete waste of time." No slideshow presentation is going to undermine one's beliefs, so any real bigots taking it won't be swayed, for one thing. For another, it takes time out of doing actual work in a pathetic attempt at indoctrination.
  • Kerwick, Jack: Targeted Duke Professor Resigns
Professor Griffiths has resigned from his position at Duke, effective next fall.
Griffiths richly deserves an award that recognizes his bravery. To be fair, however, so too does his colleague, Thomas Pfau, a professor of English and German, warrant recognition for having come to Griffiths’ defense. “Having reviewed Paul Griffiths’ note several times,” Pfau commented, “I find nothing in it that could even remotely be said to ‘express racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry.’ To suggest anything of the sort strikes me as either gravely imperceptive or as intellectually dishonest.”
  • Madden, Nate: Jesuit school sides with LGBT group, axes Chick-fil-A
  • Fascist Fordham Thought Police successfully deprived fellow students of access to a popular fried chicken chain

In other words, the Gay Gestapo not only demands you support Muslims who throw homosexuals off buildings, they deny your right to eat chicken on the way down. Got it?

After that crap, a little humor's in order...

  • Moran, Rick: 'Liberal studies' professor writes that squirrels are victims of 'racist' media bias
  • Teresa Lloro-Bidart, an associate professor of liberal studies at Cal Poly, argues in a recently published postmodernist research paper that eastern fox squirrels are on the receiving end of racially-charged media bias. Lloro-Bidart claims that she worked towards such a conclusion by analyzing the coverage of eastern fox squirrels through “feminist posthumanist,” and “feminist food studies” lenses.

  • Noble, Sara: High School Teacher Is Recruiting Students to Riot Against Trump In California
  • Livier Perez invited BAMN, a revolutionary communist group, to speak to her 10th grade students at Oakland Technical High School, Oakland,California. BAMN is a violent Antifa group.
The lecturers were recruiters, handing out flyers and encouraging the students to commit acts of violence. At the same time, they brainwashed them with lies.

Tell me, friend, how would you feel if your child came home spouting Marxist bullshit? By the way, do you remember the days when universities were bastions of tolerance and free speech?

  • O'neil, Tyler: Largest Catholic University Bans 'Gay Lives Matter' Posters For Event on Islam
  • This selective outrage merely solidified a disturbing trend among the Left. In order to emphasize the "oppression" of Muslims, liberals downplay and perhaps even ignore the deaths and sufferings of LGBT people in the Muslim world. Conservative Christians need to show more charity to LGBT people, but they aren't stoning them and throwing them off of buildings.
As Kirchick said in his speech, "The fate of sexual minorities is inextricably bound to the fate of liberal democracy."
  • Rubbelke, Nathan: Conservative UCLA professor put through ‘star chamber’ review, says he’s being ousted
  • A conservative professor at UCLA claims his superiors are working to get him fired because they do not like his politics.
ink, a conservative, an attorney, and a free speech defender who has been openly critical of ways in which UCLA has trampled on students’ free speech rights, said the discrimination against him has grown worse.
  • Shaw, Jazz: Pro-life Fresno students sue professor over literal erasure of free speech
  • Going back to the video, this portion of the debate hinges on what was truly one of the ugliest things said by the professor. (Among many.) He told the pro-life students that they needed to take their display over to “the free speech zone” despite the fact that they had a demonstration permit for the precise area where they displayed the chalk messages. Apparently he’s not aware that we already have a free speech zone: it’s called the United States. And the remarks from the University president are now on record completely refuting what the professor was saying.
  • Shimshock, Rob: Single-Gender Organizations A Form Of ‘Discrimination’ At New York College
  • The University of Rochester’s student government has decided that participation in single-gender organizations is a form of “discrimination.”
Rochester’s student government identified phrases like “any and all women” and “men of principle” as potentially violating the Friday ruling.

(In other words, your "Men's Bowling League" doesn't pass the bigotry test.)

  • Spencer, Robert: University of Buffalo Students Shout Down Robert Spencer Lecture on Jihad
  • The raucous student mob, of course, believes it represents the side of all that is good and righteous. These students have been hoodwinked into thinking that “Islamophobes,” rather than jihad terrorists, are killing people around the world.
For example, one man held a sign that read “Queers Against Islamophobia.” The crowd booed lustily when I attempted to read from Islamic authorities about Islam’s death penalty for homosexuality. Even to read from Islamic sources is hate, apparently, at the University at Buffalo -- unless, of course, one endorses such penalties rather than oppose them.
