Today I went skiing in the morning. The sun came out and it was quite warm, making the snow very soft like usually in spring. When I arrived back home I suddenly heard a thunder and it started raining heavily and even hailing for a short time. At that moment I thought that I wouldn't be able to go for a run today. However in the afternoon the weather got much better again and I was able to go for a long run as planned.
I ran mostly on trails starting at an elevation of about 500 meters. First I ran up a mountain called "Juffinger Jöchl (1181m)", which is close to where I live. Afterwards I ran half the way up another mountain called "Möslalm" to get a total of 1000 meters ascent. Here are two pictures of the top of the first peak:
Because I started a bit late it got dark at the end of my run, but I was able to complete it without problems 😁 In total I did 24.63 km with an average heart rate of 161 bpm and 1001 vertical meters. Here you can see the details of my run:
