Hello Steemians,
welcome to the seventh part of our trip on the island of Sardinia.

After 2 nights in Cala Gonone we continued our trip and drove further south to the city of Arbatax. Near Cala Gonone we visited the Grotta di Ispinigoli, one of the largest grottoes in the island.

Sometimes a few pigs strolled straight on the road.

Landscape between Urzulei and Baunei.

We arrived at Arbatax in the afternoon. After we got our hotel room, we walked through the town.

Arbatax also has a harbor.

The main attraction of Arbatax are the red rocks near the harbour.

Especially at sunset the rocks begin to shine.

The next day we explored the localities and beaches north and south of Arbatax.

To the north of Arbatax is the village of Santa Maria Navarrese, with its somewhat stony main beach Spiaggia di Santa Maria Navarrese.

South of Arbatax near the village Bari Sardo the awesome tower Torre the Bari is located. The nice beach there is called Spiaggia della Torre di Barì.

Thank you for reading!
