I continue the photo story about the trip to the Greek island of Crete in 2010.
After an excellent holiday in the town of Matala, we went further along the southern coast of the island in search of interesting places and beautiful landscapes.
Along the way we stopped in the small village of Spili.
Almost all restaurants and souvenir shops are concentrated on the main street.
On the square, in the shadow of trees, flowing creek with the purest drinking water.
After a short walk, we went to the south, towards the ancient monastery of Preveli. Landscapes were breathtaking.
We stopped to look at the bridge next to the tavern of the same name.
In the end, we reached the ancient monastery.
The monastery was abandoned, the entrance to it was closed.
We took a few photos and drove on.
A big skinny cat wished us a happy journey! :)
Thank you for travel with me.
