I remember a small story that makes so much sense sometimes even though I do not believe in God. When a man died and went to heaven he asked God why did He take his younger brother before him. God replied: “When you go to the meadow and want to pick a flower, which one do you pick? “
Who does not like to look at the flowers? Their patterns and shades are always unique. Used as a decoration in every occasion even as a source of gratitude. In some cultures people attribute different meanings to a flower, depending on the time, type and specie given. One of the only presents that can be “dead corpse” and cause joy to someone.
First thing that comes to my mind when I see this photo is the smell. One of the senses that we rarely pay attention to and yet we rely on it to survive. Smell of rotten disgusts us, smell of perfume reminds us of someone, smell of burned meet makes us salivate, citrus is associated with vitamin C, sulfur and eggs, …
