"You are the one who is in complete control. You are the one who will be defeating him." The boy dunks his plastic tiger into the tank. Its face of rose color, its stripes of mulberry and Tuscan red, and its paws painted a light cerulean blue are magnified by the shape of the fish tank's glass.
"You are going to outwit the evil Hunter with the white bulging crown cap, the gun as long as five boys, holding sticks of fire, and is in command of the tank." He lets go of the plastic tiger. It sinks to the bottom of the tank and all the fish around scurry away from the giant beast that has invaded their territory.
The boy moves over to his toy chest where the hunter is hiding. "You are going to take out the beast that has been the cause of all the destruction in the land. He's taken your wife and kids when they were playing innocently in the waters you claimed as your own territory. The time has come to get your revenge."
The boy moves the hunter legs, walking him on the edge of the box.
"Otherwise, you are going to sit there and try and try and try. This will only get in the way." The hunter jumps down from the edge of the box down on top of a building made from brown logs. The boy sets him down in a seated position overlooking the sandbox full of plastic trees and tanks heading in the direction of the fish tank.
The boy crosses the carpet floor back to the fish tank.
"You have completed your first challenge, young Buck," the boy says dipping his hand in the water, grabbing the tiger. "You were able to defeat the nasty, venomous fish that took over the castle surrounded by weeds with apple green clovers and process red spades for leaves. At least, you are beginning to see the light. Continue forward."
He brings the tiger out of the water. Water drips on the carpet floor as the boy takes the tiger to a corner of the room that has black laces hanging down from a coat hanger and places the tiger behind it as if hiding.
Floating on the air currents, the boy rushes back over to the hunter. With heavy breaths, he shouts, "You've found the tiger. It has left its natural hiding spot. Now is the time. Don't lose face."
The boy places the hunter on top of a tank and starts his way across the room to where the tiger is hidden.
"Today you will not only try but you will succeed. It is your destiny foretold by the fates that brought you down to this earth."
The boy imitates a deep tiger's growl in the best way he can. Then he shakes the hunter.
"Don't look directly into your enemy's eyes. He will pull you into his world and destroy you. Keep your mind on the mission."
The tank gets caught in the carpet, getting stuck and coming to a halt. The boy rolls with it and so does the hunter but the hunter is face down on the ground, breaking a few ribs and his rifle lands yards away from him when he hits the ground. The boy, with his free hand, grabs the tiger from behind the vail, having the tiger pounce on the hunter.
"You are the one that is in control. You are the one who did defeat him, the hunter who claimed your lands."

Haiku - These are coming out every couple days or so. If you struggle with rhymes, no worries. Haikus don't have to rhyme. So easy it makes me think I'm being super productive. LOL
Mizu No Oto - Every Image Has Its Haiku Contest - By reading the title, you should be able to guess how this haiku contest works. You're given an image and you write. I've really enjoyed this contest because there are people here who've actually gone to classes to learn how to write haiku's; so if you want, you also can learn how to write quality haikus from reading the comments and critiques they and others give.
Micro-Fiction Writing Contest - This is a fun challenge. You get two-hundred and fifty words to tell a story or vignettes. Here is a great post that will explain the difference between the two concepts. Here is another post explanation of what a story is. Good luck, Brave Story Writer!
Vocab-Ability 1x1 - What happens is you are given a list of roots and the words they can be found in. You create a sentence using those words and post in the comment section of the post. Your upvote for your creative work will come soon. One of the best ways to increase your vocabulary is by doing these 10-15 minute exercises almost daily. What craziness will you create?
